"Bought this for my daughters nursery, it looks great on the wall and she absolutely loves it. Every time we go in she smiles at the owls and waves goodbye when we leave the room. The postcard is a great idea too, we have taken it with us on holiday so she has something familiar to look at. A lovely piece of art work."
About the Artist
Rachel grew up in an artistic home in the north west of England, surrounded by beautiful views and magnificent rolling countryside. Thanks to her dress maker mother, architect father and artist brother's influences, she knew from an early age that she would pursue a career in art and design. After finishing school she studied an Art and Design foundation course at Blackburn College of Art, where she developed a love of textile design and fashion. Rachel went on to study Textile Design at West Surrey College of Art and Design, where she gained a BA Honours Degree.
Since leaving college 15 years ago, she has worked as a freelance designer, selling her furnishing and giftware designs around the world. Rachel is now a partner in her own highly successful design company, Lov Li, where she produces and sells designs for all kinds of surface pattern, from greetings cards and gift-wrap to kids' art and home-wares. Lov Li’s designs can be seen on greeting cards in Paperchase, Designers’ Guild, and the Tate as well as on Harrod’s signature brand products. Rachel lives in Birmingham, UK where she is as passionate about gardening and cooking as she is about her love of pattern and colour and creating beautiful things.
