About the Artist
Carla Daly
Carla Daly specialises in art for children. Carla loves to illustrate animals and her jungle animals have a special place in her heart as Carla spent her childhood living in Africa. After spending time on safari and seeing the lions, giraffes, zebras and hippos, Carla has been inspired to create the jungle animals of her childhood in art. Encouraged by her artist mother Carla developed her unique style of colourful animal art.
After graduating from art college Carla illustrated for many UK and international children's book publishers, product manufacturers, advertising agencies and newspaper and magazine publications. Carla's clients include UNICEF, Ritzenhoff, Simon and Schuster, Cow Parade and British Airways amongst others. She has illustrated five books in The Twitches series, written by BAFTA winner, UK author Roy Apps.
Children love Carla's bold line, bright colours and her unique sense of humour!
