How do gift cards work?

Beautifully designed and printed, our Happy Spaces gift card will be sent to you or your chosen recipient by first class post or if you’re in a hurry, get it sent by e-mail and it will arrive instantly at your chosen address.

Happy Spaces gift cards can be purchased for any value and can be redeemed against anything including post and packaging charges. Gift cards do not expire. If you do not spend the entire value of the gift card in one transaction then the balance can be carried forward for use against future transactions until the balance is fully redeemed. If the gift card does not fully cover the transaction, the additional amount will be charged to you on checkout. A secret code will be included on the gift card which will be used by the site to recognise the gifted amount. You should keep this code secret as the site cannot verify that the correct person is redeeming the gift card. We cannot reissue the code once the balance has been redeemed. If you lose the code and there is still a balance on the gift card then please contact us and we will reissue the code.

Where you have chosen for your gift card to be sent in the post, we aim to dispatch it within 2 working days. We send gift cards using first class post and therefore it should arrive 1 - 2 working days after dispatch (3 – 5 working days for international orders).

Do you deliver outside the UK?

To all our lovely, happy international customers, hello, bonjour, buon giorno, guten tag, néih hóu, konnichi wa, hoi! Yes, we are pleased to say that Happy Spaces deliver artwork all over the world. Depending on your location, international delivery takes between 5 and 10 working days after dispatch. Purchasers are responsible for any duties and/or taxes levied at the point of entry into the destination country.

What does it mean when an item is listed as ‘made to order’?

Items listed as ‘made to order’ are available for purchase, however, these items will be made especially for you following your order and will therefore take longer than usual to dispatch. Please allow 8 weeks for all ‘made to order’ items.

What is a HappySet?

At Happy Spaces we like to make people happy. So we have saved you time and money and created sets of elegantly matched artworks that complement each other. Each set has a different number of pieces normally, 2 or 3, and are available to you at a reduced price so that you get more and pay less. They’re great for those of you who are looking to decorate a larger space (on a budget) or if you have more than one tiny tot at home who would love a happy space on their bedroom wall.

How will my purchase be packaged?

Each piece of art is protected with corner protectors, protective plastic covering and bubble wrap. It is then beautifully wrapped with brightly coloured tissue paper and Happy Spaces’ ribbon. A specially designed postcard with the artwork’s details is also included. Each piece is then packaged in its own individual, fully recyclable, box and sent to our very happy customer.

Do I need an account to place an order?

No. You are able to place an order with or without a user account. But remember if you sign up for an account with us then you will be able to access all areas of our website including being able to track your order and do cool stuff like write your own reviews on our artworks. Should you provide your consent, we’ll also send you our happy newsletter which will provide you with the latest information on new artists that join us, new artworks on offer and other Happy Spaces news.

Can I order over the phone or by e-mail?

If you are a retailer and wish to stock Happy Spaces products please contact us using the contact form under the Trade section below or contact us using your preferred method. If you are not a retailer, sorry, orders can only be placed online.

Ordering

What should I do if my parcel has not arrived?

We always aim to please, but sometimes things can go wrong. If your parcel has not arrived yet, please first check that you have allowed the correct amount of time for it to get to you. Dispatch of your parcel will take up to 48 hours. For standard delivery please allow 5 full working days after dispatch for your parcel to arrive before contacting us regarding late delivery. Please note : Bank Holidays and weekends are not a working day for delivery. Remember international or ‘made to order’ products will take longer to arrive – for full details on delivery times click here. For standard delivery please allow 5 full working days after dispatch for your parcel to arrive. Then, if you’re still sure it’s late, please e-mail us using the address listed in the ‘Contact Us’ section and be sure to include your order number so that we are able to trace it for you.

How long will it take for my package to arrive?

Dispatch

For items listed on the website as ‘in stock’ we aim to dispatch these within 2 working days. For items listed as ‘made to order’, dispatch will take place 8 weeks after the order is placed. Speedy delivery items: All orders placed before 12pm will be dispatched the same day, orders placed after 12pm will be dispatched the following working day. Please note that we are unable to deliver on Saturdays.Items ordered for special delivery on Friday before 12pm will be delivered on a Monday.

UK Delivery

Please note : Bank Holidays and weekends are not a working day for delivery.

Please allow 3-5 working days after dispatch for standard UK delivery or 1-2 working days for speedy delivery.

International delivery

We are able to deliver artwork all over the world. Depending on your location, international delivery takes between 5 and 10 working days after dispatch. Purchasers are responsible for any duties and/or taxes levied at the point of entry into the destination country.

How do I track my order status?

If you have a user account with Happy Spaces and were logged in when you placed your order, you can track your order status by logging in and accessing the Account link at the top of the home page. All orders placed under your username will be visible under the Orders tab.

If you are unable to see your order, please send us an email with the details of how you are attempting to access your order and we will assist you.

Delivery

How do returns, exchanges and refunds work?

We are sure you will be thrilled with your purchase, however, if you are not 100% happy and wish to return your purchase, we will refund or exchange artwork that is sent back to us within 14 days. All we ask is that you return the artwork in an undamaged, saleable condition with the original packaging, protective covering and labelling intact.

Please note: We are unable to refund or exchange artwork where the protective plastic covering has been removed unless faulty. We are unable to exchange or refund made to order or bespoke items unless faulty. There is no return or exchange for sale items. Please note that we are unable to refund shipping and/or delivery charges as well as international customs duties and taxes (where applicable).

Procedure for Return or Exchange

If you are a registered user please sign in and open a new enquiry by clicking on the Enquiries Tab under the Account section. If not, then please email us using the form under the Contact section. Please advise as to whether you would like to make a return or exchange, note your original order reference number and explain the reason for the return. For exchanges please indicate the desired artwork.

Securely wrap and package the item with a note detailing your request, original order reference number and explaining the reason for the return.

Please send your return or exchange to our warehouse depot: Happy Spaces, 1 North Copse, Worksop, S80 3AS, UK. You will be responsible for the artwork until it reaches us and therefore we suggest you send packages insured and/or registered.

We will contact you once we have received the package to tell you that your return is being processed. Please allow 30 days for processing the refund or exchange.

Exchanges

Exchanges will be subject to our stock availability. Exchanged items will only be dispatched after the returned goods have been received and a full quality control check has been carried out.

Refunds

Once your package has been returned to us within the above stated timeframe, we will begin to process your refund request. Each item will undergo a full quality control check and once verified, your refund will be processed in the original payment format as your purchase was made within 30 days of the date of cancellation notice. If we find that the product has not been returned to us in a fully resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item or deduct up to 20% of the original selling price from the refund amount.

In the case of faulty goods, we will reimburse you in full (the cost of the product and postage). In the case of non-faulty goods, we will reimburse you for the cost of the product only.

Can I return or refund a gift card?

Happy Spaces gift cards can be redeemed against anything including post and packaging charges and do not expire. However, we are unable to refund or exchange a gift card once it has been purchased.

How green are you?

Our canvases carry the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Mixed Sources Certification. The wood used to make our canvases comes from FSC approved sources including FSC certified well-managed forests, controlled sources and/or recycled material.

Why does this make a difference?

Using FSC approved sources:

  • prohibits conversion of natural forests or other habitats around the world;
  • prohibits the use of highly hazardous pesticides around the world;
  • prohibits the cultivation of genetically modified trees (GMOs);
  • respects the right of indigenous peoples around the world;
  • controls each certified operation at least once a year; and if they are found not to comply, the certificate is withdrawn.

Our Packaging

Our boxes are made from 85-90% recycled cardboard and are fully recyclable.

Why does this make a difference?

Every tonne of cardboard recycled saves 17 trees, 7,000 gallons of water, 2 cubic yards of landfill and 4,100 kw/hours of electricity.

How do I care for my canvas?

Keep out of direct sunlight

Try not to hang canvases directly opposite large windows that get a lot of direct sunlight as direct sunlight can fade colours over time.

Avoid heat

Ideally canvases should not be hung above radiators. Extreme or rapid changes in temperature can cause the wood to warp and dry out and thus cause problems with the tautness of the stretched canvas.

Avoid moisture

Although our canvases are protected with a protective coating, we advise, as with any piece of art, to keep them away from any form of moisture (although a bit of kiddie drool should be fine!). If you need to wipe the canvas then please do so with a soft dry cloth.

Handle with care

Our canvases come packaged with corner protectors. When these protectors are removed please take extra care of the corners because, as with any artwork, hard knocks and bumps on the corners could result in chipping. When carrying and transporting canvases, grasp the frame firmly on both sides. If you have to store canvases, make sure they are stacked vertically and the right way up. When stacking canvases, stand them front to front so that the hanger does not damage the canvas.

What are your products made from?

Each one of our canvas prints is a top quality reproduction of the original artwork, made on cotton canvas using the giclée method of printing. This method produces prints with deep, saturated colours and excellent detail.

Our prints are stretched over wooden bars made with wood from FSC approved sources including FSC certified well-managed forests, controlled sources and/or recycled material. The back of each print is neatly covered with tape leaving a very clean finish with no nasty staples.

Each canvas is finished on all sides and comes with a hanger for wall mounting so there is no need for framing. It also makes our canvases ideal for kids' rooms as there is no glass to break.

How do I update my personal information?

This function is available to users who have an account with us. Just click on ‘Account’, where you will be able to review your information. If it needs updating click on the ‘Edit’ button and change the required fields. Then click ‘Submit’ and you’re done.

Can I cancel my account?

We’re never happy to see a happy user leave but if you must go, simply click on ‘Account’, login and create a ticket informing us that you would like to cancel your account. Please remember once you’ve cancelled your account we’ll lose any information relating to you that you’ve created, so you won’t be able to track any existing orders and you will no longer be able to access your order history.

How do you safeguard my personal information?

We are committed to protecting your security and privacy. We ensure that your name, address, credit card details and any other information you give us will be kept securely. Our secure-server software uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) 128 bit encryption, which is designed to render information unreadable should anyone try to read it. This encrypts all your personal information including credit or debit card number, name and address. The encryption process takes the characters you enter and converts them into bits of code that are then securely transmitted over the Internet. Confidential information such as your credit card number will be used only to fulfill your order. To protect your privacy, we will ask you to enter your credit card number, expiration date & card verification code (3 digit number on the back of your card) each time you place an order with us.
